Just Ask Us

Why do men become Freemasons?
(It means different things to each member)
BUT, in short, there are two main strands of enjoyment:-
1.   Those of us who fully immerse ourselves into Freemasonory and all it has to offer
2.   Those of us who just enjoy the social side of good company in friendly surroundings
. . . . . . and of course, a third strand is all the points between the two extremes!

Also, because:-
- It's a lot of fun
- It's worthwhile

- It's a challenge
- It's fascinating
- It's relevant
- It's inclusive

We are a unique members' organisation which has thrived for over 300 years.  Having no political or religious affiliations.  We have members of all ages, races, religions, cultures and backgrounds.  We gather in our individual Lodges throughout the country where we have ceremonial traditions which encourage us both to be more tolerant and respectful and actively to fulfil our civic and charitable ressponsibilities;  we also make time to eat, drink and meet together, and form lifelong friendships.
